Nathan Cullen Speaking on CR
Here is another last ditch attempt to save electoral reform: Nathan Cullen (who was on the committee for electoral reform, and has a reasonably high profile in the federal NDP) is running an electoral reform "Keep Your Promise" tour. He is speaking on Wednesday, March 29 at the main branch of the KPL, at 7pm. If you are available you should come. He is a good speaker and well-versed in electoral reform. Cullen sponsored the electoral reform petition, which hit 130k signatures. (He also came in second to Thomas Mulcair in the last federal NDP leadership race. Given that another leadership race is underway, this may explain why he is carrying the torch for electoral reform now. But that is just speculation on my part.)
