Cap and Trade Commentary: Due Oct 11
I am quite upset that the Ford government decided to end the cap and trade program we had set up in conjunction with Quebec and California. I do not claim that the program was perfect or even adequate, but it seems much much better than whatever replacement will be proposed.
It turns out there is a short one-month window the public may use to comment on Ontario legislation. Unfortunately for the cap-and-trade cancellatiom that deadline is in a few days, October 11. So if you want to have your say, do so quickly.

Will your commentary affect anything? Nope. It is nothing but a talking point. Nonetheless I feel it is important that express our disapproval, so that we know the government is lying when it claims that cancelling cap-and-trade is "what the people want".
