Shannon Moroney Talk - May 28
There are lots of good events happening locally, and most of them do not get promoted on this blog. But a while ago I attended a talk by a woman named Shannon Moroney, and it was illuminating. Moroney's story is that she married somebody who committed some awful crimes. So when I saw she was speaking again, I thought I ought to say something.
The KPL and Community Justice Initiatives is holding an event on May 28 featuring Moroney and a speaker named Timea Nagy, who lived through sex trafficking. I suspect this event will be intense, but it may be worth attending.
